Balance (symmetrical)- Symmetry (from Greek συμμετρεῖν symmetreín "to measure together") has two meanings. The first is a vague sense of harmonious and beautiful proportion and balance. The second is an exact mathematical "patterned self-similarity" that can be demonstrated with the rules of a formal system, such as geometry or physics.

In this photo of a cat, I see eyes, a nose, and a mouth with whiskers. The balance can be seen in the cats face, if you draw a line directly down the middle of the cats face This balance in this photo conveys a sense of calmness in my opinion. This image is appealing to me because I like how the cats eyes appear in this photo.

In this photo of Beyonce I see eyes hair, a mouth, eyebrows, teeth, and a nose. The symmetrical balance can be seen in the face of Beyonce, if you were to take a ruler and cut her face directly down a line it would be almost perfect to symmetrical. The balance in this photo conveys a sense of power in my opinion. This image is appealing to me because Beyonce is a powerful figure in the life of many.
