Balance (asymmetrical)- Asymmetry is the absence of, or a violation of, symmetry. Symmetry is an important property of both physical and abstract systems, it may be displayed in precise terms or in more aesthetic terms. The absence of violation of symmetrys that are either expected or desired can have important consequences for a system.

In this photo of a flower, I see a purple flower, and green grass. The asymmetrical balance, can be seen in the grass. Since the whole picture is mainly of grass which is green, the flower that is bright purple makes the flower pop out against the green grass. This asymmetrical balance conveys a sense of beauty. This image is appealing to me because I like how there is one lone flower in the field of grass. It makes the flower really stand out, and the grass draws attention to the flower.

In this photo of many people I see a bunch of grey and white people and a person that is bright yellow in the middle of everyone else. The asymmetrical balance, can be seen in the person that is all yellow, because since everyone else is a combination of grey and white, it makes the person who is all yellow stick out compared to everyone else. This symmetrical balance conveys a sense of happiness in my opinion. This image is appealing to me because I enjoy how the figure looks so happy in this photo. The person seems to be happy that they stick out compared to how everyone else looks. It also conveys a sense of originality.
