Proportion- Proportion refers to the relative size and scale of the various elements in a design. The sole use of proportion in a photograph is to create visual interest, one element against another.

In this photo of a two trees, I see two trees a big tree and a small tree. The proportion, can be seen in the trees. The larger tree is the most predominant in this photo and then the eye goes to the smaller tree. This proportion conveys a sense of inspiration in my opinion. This image is appealing to me because I like how it looks like the setting where this photo was taken looks like it was in a safari.

In this photo of hands I see a child's hand and an adults hand The proportion can be seen in the size of the two different hands, the child's and the adults. This proportion conveys a sense of innocence in my opinion. This image is appealing to me because I like how the photo is in black and white. White represents a color of innocence, so when seeing the child's hand compared to the adults hand, it conveys a sense of innocence and adolescence.
